  The Hittites were Indo-European, the Mitanni empire in the ANE was Indo-European, the Sea Peoples who settled the Levant were largely Indo-European. Ancient Egyptian royalty, like those of many other nations, made treaty arrangements through marriage. It is not strange to think that genes typical of those living in Europe made their way into the Egyptian gene pool.
