When they use your Holy Name to lead us astray…

When they use a blindfold to obscure the WAY to the TURTH…

When they use YOUR word to manipulate our thoughts…
Forgive them Father, for they don’t know what they do
When they make us toil to multiply their gold…
Forgive them Father, for they don’t know what they do
When they disguise the wolves with sheep coats…
Forgive them Father, for they don’t know what they do
When they guide YOUR fold to pastures full of scold…
Forgive them Father, for they don’t know what they do
When they wound the ones that found the way out of their maze…
Forgive them Father, for they don’t know what they do
When they don’t put our tears in the vase of their hearts…
Forgive them Father, for they don’t know what they do
When with tyranny they rule your sheep and attempt to usurp YOUR seat …

For we were once guilty…of imitating their sins.
