Has anyone else tried to add criticism to Jehovah's Witnesses on Wikipedia, only to see it get edited out with a few hours?

Try it and see how quick it will get removed. Makes you wonder who's watching.

    What's the hold?

    I bet it's a wink and a special handshake.

You don't know who is at the top of this org.

Not sure what you tried to add, but the page on JW has a whole section called Criticism and controversies, also there are several wiki pages detailing criticism on JWs. I would think the reason for reverting your edit is that it wasn't neutral enough to be accepted.

wikipedia has a pretty harsh edit policy. i have had an article about a certain formulation of hamiltonian mechanics removed because it was not relevant enough (even if it was true). Generally, if a new poster tries to add or remove something to an existing article, it is not going to stay there.

If you think you can add something to the article about jw, eschatology etc, DOCUMENT IT and read bestys link to go through the proper chanels. I very much doubt the article on wikipedia is written by someone who was remotely pro-jw, imho it is pretty damn accurate.
