BurnThe Facts said:
Copenhagen conference spews more CO2 than 60 countries do in entire Year -- COMBINED.
The linked New York Post article actually said:
Some 40,000 tons of carbon will be spewed getting this crowd together and keeping them in comfort.
That is the daily amount of carbon dioxide produced by 30 of the world's smaller countries, according to UN statistics.
A daily amount becomes an annual amount
30 countries becomes 60 countries
The original quote is unclear whether the 30 countries figure is aggregated or individual , but what the hell do the facts matter - lets just add the word 'combined' in there anyhow.
BTF - there is clear manipulation and falsification of data evident in your media quote - to make at least 2 errors in one so-called sentence is unforgivable.
Incidentally quoting from the New York Post only removes the last vestiges of credibility from your ideological position. Trying to compare the carbon effect of a conference on climate change is a complete red herring and adds nothing material to the debate - merely sates the craving for junk food of an audience that is disinterested in relevant facts.
