I went to an amway meeting many years ago back when I was JW. They are just like the JW's in recruitment and indoctrination methods. Or the JW's are just like them, take your pick.

My Dad was really into amway for several years back in the 70's, and then he progressed directly into becoming a JW with no problem.

"Investigating MLM is what led to my own epiphany about the JWs and mind control. The two use a lot of the same techniques and manipulations. An Amway expose called "Things They Will Say" showed me how I was being controlled.
Same here...I was at an MLM convention that the lightbulb went off.

At least they (Amway) only claim to be a business and in it for the money. The Watchtower is just a business, and lies that it is a religion (for tax evasion). The WTS at one time called congregations, companies, calls door to door, service, overseers once called company servants. Ironically, say they are against 'organized' religion yet call themselves, THE ORGANIZATION.
