    Good thinking Hotspur (you have a PM)...did not the Egyptians use the 'Royal Cubit' as a standard measure...? So inches would be irrelevant anyway.

    I agree with Blues Brother that the modern young JW does not see the relevance of any of this, and will shrug it off if you let them.

    The point is, this is what they (GB/Rutherford) were teaching when they were supposedly chosen by Jesus in 1919 !!!!

    Hence , far from writing a new "Manifesto" and distancing themselves from it, it is connected to how they justify their authority today.

    As Ray Franz said , it is an " insult to Jesus " to believe that he chose them in 1919, because this is the twaddle they were teaching !
