A JW associate emailed this to me. Exudes of typical JW smugness towards "worldly" folks. Has this been your experience in the borg?

FRIENDS: Never ask for food.

Theocratic FRIENDS: Always bring the food.

FRIENDS: Will say 'hello'..

Theocratic FRIENDS: Will give you a big hug and a kiss.

FRIENDS: Call your parents Mr. and Mrs.

Theocratic FRIENDS: Call your parents Mom and Dad.

FRIENDS: Have never seen you cry.

Theocratic FRIENDS: Cry with you.

FRIENDS: Will eat at your dinner table and leave.

Theocratic FRIENDS: Will spend hours there, talking, laughing, and just being together.

Theocratic FRIENDS: Could write a book with direct quotes from you

Theocratic FRIENDS: will cut your grass and clean your house
then come spend the night with you in the hospital and cook for you
when you come home

Theocratic FRIENDS: have your number memorized.

Theocratic FRIENDS: Are forever.

FRIENDS: Might ignore this.

Theocratic FRIENDS: Will forward this to all their Worldwide Friends..

If I had remained that naive little JW long enough, I may have passed this puke fest on to all of my other little JW friends believing it to be a form of encouragement.

I received the exact same email a couple months ago except it was called Friends vs. Southern friends. That one actually made sense.

One of the discoveries when I left (and I should have known better since I wasn't born in) was that most "worldly" people are pretty nice.
