"I saw three of my friends with extra thick earrings, like the spiral kind that get bigger as they go around, and have since wanted to do my own. I got 10G tiny but thicker hoops and have just shoved them through enough to put the little doughnut shaped back on."
Why? I really don't get it, but I'm open to understanding.

I used to have mine stretched to a 2 gage. beware tho depending on your earlobes any amount of stretching can stick and then it will be hard to keep normal earrings in your ears . buuut it was really good while i had the plugs in becuase i never had to remember to put in earrings.And if you like small acute pain they are fun to get put in.

Don't do it. It takes plastic surgery to repair that kind of crap, and by the time you are wanting it fixed, you are going to have more critical things to worry about, like a boob job and Lipo:) The problem is that you can't put a bra or a girdle on your earlobes!
