i was just wondering who has guns on here and what are they. i was inspired by john does knife thread. here's my rundown:

I have a 12ga remington 870 in my closet. I've had if for a few years now, and shot skeet a few times when I first got it; but previous to owning this shotgun, I've never owned a gun. Soooooo, every now and then, my memory being what it is (or isn't), I'll be hanging some clothes and suddenly be taken aback when I see a gun in my closet. (also a testament to how often I put my clothes away)

Also, a couple of years ago, I did a full Starsky and Hutch (ok, I guess just Starsky or Hutch, since I was alone) maneuver through our empty house with this same innapropriately-long-barreled-gun when we were spooked that someone had been harrassing my wife. Turned out I was simply wrong about how the lock on the door worked and no, no one had entered the house. Beyond the rich comedy of me silently stabbing a Remington 870 around corners and into rooms, I look back and laugh at the fact that I didn't just go across the street to the police station (or at least call 911) like any semi-smart person would have done.

I have a fever, does that count?
