I am sorry, John Doe.
Can we be friends again?
It's not worth logging on to JWN if you and I can't exchange insults!
I promise I won't even say anything about your ugly green bird, Squiggy.
Please?
Sylvia
I appreciate the gesture Sylvia. But, I wasn't looking for an apology. Reality is often a bitter pill to swallow, but it's always best in the end, and I don't want to put on any false facade.
Peace.
Nice try at the slap of my hand Spike but I wasn't taking credit for those words. Other folks have posted lyrics from songs without posting where the words came from on this very topic. The first part comes from a well known song called Suspicious Minds (covered by a favorite group of mine, Fine Young Cannibals) and the later part came from a speech the Martin Luther King made at the nation's capital in 1963. I posted and gave credit due for the parts of MLK's yesterday in another topic.

thanks, josie, for your lead. now if others will follow with attributing credit where it is due, it will be much appreciated
Spike, dear heart, folks here do it all the time. You thinking you need to point it out is totally redundant and a bit annoying.

Spike, honey, give it a rest. You're no Mod. And for the record, what I posted was small parts (snippets if you will) thus in keeping with the guideline you just posted.

Um, Spike, if you can't recognize MLK without a signpost...well, I worry for you. Really, I do. </offtopic>
JD, we're all full of wildly different viewpoints. But we all share the same inner spark. We all share the same mammal body and the same human condition. I miss your bullish playfulness.
