    One thing that jumped out at me was the stressing of not doing anything other with your free evening than "worship". This equated to studying WTS publications. One demonstration featured a brother being offered some short-term overtime over a few evenings. He reasons that he could do so now that he had 4 evenings free per week, but then rationlised that it would eat into his 'study time'.

    Yep - same old rubbish - Jehovah will provide. I wonder if it would be a good idea to have some direct debits set up with the Bank of Jehovah.

    The thing I don't understand is they made a practice for years of pointing out how, if you're a good JW employee, your boss will reward you with promotions and job security.

    Notice they didn't mention bars/pubs!

    It's laughable, really, how JWs still try to present a public face of sobriety.

    I dug out the newspaper article with the pic - according to the Sunday Mail there were 27 baptisms. It's hard to judge the age range but one or two looked young and one a lot older.

    The attendants have the obligatory wet t-shirt beer belly look....
