I am sure you'd be charming company. I haven't caught anything you've posted on his progress, lately. Is he still in NICU? What is his prognosis?

Yes, I'm VERY charming.
Yep, he's still there. it's all day by day. He's been "stable". I'm hopeful.

I am hopeful for him, too. When my son Jesse was in NICU, he was one of two full term babies in the unit. Jesse was extremely jaundiced and very, very anemic due to an Rh incompatibility. The other baby had immature lungs, but was not a premie. It was heartbreaking, but the nurses were so good to him and Jesse and to us. They took alphabet wrapping paper and made a sign with his name and put it over his little bluebird bed. I still have the sign and the premie pal, a stuffed elephant that volunteers made for him. To this day Jesse has neurological problems and is probably midly autistic. I live with the knowledge that his problems could be due to the fact that he was so sick and did not have exchange transfusions. My daughter was sick, too, but not as critical as Jesse.
The stereo speakers were directly over Jesse's bluebird bed. The radio station used to play this song everytime we visited Jesse or sat with him. When I hear it to this day, it always makes me choke up and cry.
