A co-worker of mine said he went out with a "high yellow" gal over the weekend? What kind of girl is a "high yellow" girl?

    A light skin black girl

"High yellow, occasionally simply yellow (dialect: yaller, yeller), is a term for very light-skinned multiracial people who also have African ancestry. It is a reference to the golden yellow skin tone of some mixed-race people. The term was in common use in the United States at the end of the 19th century and the early decades of the 20th century, and appears in many popular songs of the era, such as "The Yellow Rose of Texas"."

LOL. I asked Carlos, my office co-worker, "what is a high yellow girl?"

He looks up at the ceiling for a moment then says, "I think it's Asian girl on crack."

There are still people on this planet who will call someone "high yellow"?

    Tsk Tsk.

The blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice.

I guess this is related to calling a light complexioned black man as "bright". I remember years ago that a black female co-worker was commenting she did not like bright guys which at the time I interpreted to mean she liked dumb men.

the blacker the berry, the more i am not attracted physically.

I dont know what it is, i've never found a black woman to be attractive in anyway.

Indian women, sure. Asian? ok. Pale White? WOOHOO.

    Black?

    not physically.

Just a matter of taste really.
