.... while they claw my flower bed to shreds hunting for worms.
.... and whippoorwills call you to bed at night.
Haven't heard a whippoorwill for 22 years in this section of Pennsylvania.

..... if it weren't for the out-of-season head cold I've had for almost a week.

My purposes for tomorrow include cursing the robins and cleaning the toilet.
