Here is the youtube of the original media interview http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0L2VaTWs9s and the remix at http://www.news.com.au/technology/story/0,28348,25519874-5014239,00.html

It is amazing because she made up the whole account yet the media fell for it and put it on tv. She has already been viewed arount a million times on youtube. It adds new meaning to ones 15 minutes of fame.

When I went into a shop in some country NT town, I saw a Golliwogg doll on sale. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I took a picture of it, as it was a memorable sight. As for the term "wog", I was only familiar with the nautical term referring to someone who hadn't crossed the equator. We had a family friend who was in the Navy, and she showed us her video of "Wog Day" with the hazing of newbie sailors. But that obviously wasn't the sense here. As a racial term, I had to look it up too.

What was she saying to the guy being interviewed after her?

Carol Thatcher (daughter of Margaret Thatcher) recently got into trouble in the UK for using the term golliwog to describe a black tennis player, causing debate about what is acceptable language in public and in private and what constitutes private conversation.

Wog is a very common term here.....in the USA you use "nigg#r" but we never use that term here.
