Sounds like Mrs OTWO is not ready to take personal responsibility for her relationship with God and Christ. I would not take my hubbie to the hall should he suddenly lose his mind and decide to go again. He would have to take himself. I'd be more than happy to have dinner waiting for him when he returns, make sure his suits are pressed and shoes shined, and have socks without holes. But if he is healthy enough to go to work and capable enough to get to his job, he can take himself to the meetings.

I think you are great individual from what I have read, sticking by your wife, and "confirming" so to speak so as to not have major drama in your life...I am a true believer in "rewards" for those that try...you will be rewarded even through difficult times.
Although I never claim to understand it completely (your side), I still have good instinct...the rewards will come....sometimes the pain comes 1st, or the foul bad mood you may be in...rewards will come.
That is what I keep telling myself anyway...

Blondie- she can get there on her own. We are not viewing this the same, but I may need to get more and more in your view of this as time goes on, for my own peace of mind.
Nowman- it's not that I try to be negative about it, but I don't share the optimism of others on the matter, just so I don't get my hopes dashed. I hope you and they are right and I was just avoiding best-case scenarios.

Pain can be a necessary evil. If you had no pain sensors, you'd end up losing limbs and eyes. Pain gets our attention. It makes us stand up and take action. It was pain that helped me see through the JW's. Adversity is a very good teacher.
