Quite clearly God made the universe. John 1 tells us that Jesus made everything. So is Jesus God?
Even the NWT admits its falsehood showing us it has added to the scripture with the use of the [] to totally change the meaning regarding creation and Christ and fit their false doctrine.

Also the NWT contradicts its own translation of Colossians 1:16 elsewhere, see here
1 Corinthians 8:6 NWT there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him; and there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things are, and we through him.
No added words there! All things are through Him, our Lord and God Jesus, hallelujah!
