Beck: Solomon's talent (other than sex monger) was wisdom.... Is this based soley on the story of splitting the baby in half? Were there any other really outstanding brillant things Solomon did to exemplify this great wisdom he was endowed with?

Didn't God specifically have Moses write it in stone that adultery and covetness were against his laws? Do you really think Solomon waited till later in life to "turn away" from God? Could he have been apostate from day one? Wasn't there a story of how Solomon amassed horses and wealth in direct contrast to 'god's instructions'? I suspect these were business marriage alliances. On the other hand having this many wives would certainly make it difficult for Satan to manipulate the elimination of the potential heir to the kingdom if solomon had many, many sons.
