A couple times a year we have homemade Polish sausge, sauerkraut and pirogies. My friend makes it himself and it tastes sooo good.
I'm not Polish but we live near a Polish community and every year there is a huge Dyngus Day celebration the day after Easter. The food is heavenly!!

homemade chili with hot peppers and cheese sprinkled on top and a dollop (is that a word?) of sour cream
and then a nice cold beer or six...

So minidot........my comfort foods are spaghetti, cannoli, chocolate chip cookies, Smidgens, pizza, hot fudge sauce, and cream cheese omelets with french fries. There are more, but that's all I can think of at the moment.
