I pasted this link on another forum with the question, "is this gal liberal or conservative?" Here is one of the first responses:
Liberal. That was easy. How did I arrive there?
1) No respect for property: Beating on the desk and equipment
2) No respect for the airline (business)
3) No self respect
4) Expected the world to cater to her needs
5) Needed to be drug off like a hippie protester
6) Expected her tantrum to cause a change in her situation
7) No respect for the other passengers who made it on time
8) The rules for others don't apply to her
I'm sure I could find more.
1)A conservative person would have started by trying to figure out the next flight out and how to adapt her travel schedule to the new realities.
2) She would not have been disrepectful to the counter personnel
3) Blamed herself
4) Left the area herself and went to the customer service desk for a new flight.
5) Not have hit, kicked, screamed, and rolled on the floor.
6) Security wouldn't have been called -
