She's probably way to busy working for zero $, down in the bowels of some factory or residence building. Under the guise she's really making God happy by cleaning toilets or ironing clothes or unfolding cardboard boxes or cleaning grout on a bathroom floor with a toothbrush. She may not have the time to respond to your "worldly" emails or letters.
Dismembered
Newborn, you're going through the process of mourning the loss of your sister. It's almost as if she has died, if she doesn't want to have anything more to do with you. The only difference is that someday she may come to her senses and get out. I would suggest, as others posters have, to keep sending her occasional cards, letters, etc. to express only sisterly love and the hope to be reconciled. Don't get into dub topics -- it'll only make her dig in her heels even further. My condolences and good luck.
