  There is much more in the sky.

  Close to the horizon is Jupiter and Mercury. Jupiter is brighter, though much further away.

  If you have a telescope, you can see Neptune in proximity to Venus, in Capricorn. Further east in Aquarius you can see Uranus. It has been a spectacular lineup of planets recently.
