One person's crap is another's treasure.

Maybe if you're a dung beetle, but thinking, reasoning humans should do better.

Thinking, reasoning ... where have I heard a plethora of those words before?

    Oh yes! The WBTS.

Do you disagree with using logical thought and reasoning? Does the fact that the WTBTS espouses certain principles, irregardless of whether they actually follow them, mean that those principles are wrong?

    No, of course not.

However, whenever anyone uses loaded terms such as those, I have flashbacks.

Now, shut up and let me enjoy my music!

Have a look at this web site folks, it shows that God supports many other evil and unimpassioned acts against humanity.

The war between the Gods and spirits occurred many times in ancient cultures as history has show and the instigators of those wars were usually the

    spiritual leaders of those cultures.

In a sense Armageddon has happened many times in human history , its not just something thats going to happen in the future as the religions such as the JWS have stated.

    Think about it.

Ecclesiastes 3:14 I've also concluded that whatever God does, that's the way it's going to be, always. No addition, no subtraction. God's done it and that's it. That's so we'll quit asking questions and simply worship in holy fear.

That verse literally turns my stomach. How can you believe in such crap?

I guess if one picks the one translation that fits your preconceptions, then you can make it say whatever you want. Here are a few other translations:

NIV: I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that men will revere him.
NASB: I know that everything God does will remain forever; there is nothing to add to it and there is nothing to take from it, for God has so worked that men should fear Him.
NLT: And I know that whatever God does is final. Nothing can be added to it or taken from it. God’s purpose is that people should fear him.

Secondly, Ecclesiates has as its main theme the life of a person who does not walk with God.

Why should an all powerful being need to be feared? That is what makes no sense to me. It sounds like the mentality of man, not a god.

Rape is okay in the Bible as long as it is a Jew doing it to a gentile.

Look at the incident where Moses told the Israelites to kill all the males and all the women who were married, but keep the young virgin females for themselves.

Since many girls were married off at about 12/13 this means keep the children for yourselves.

I don't see how a child who has just seen somebody kill her entire family is going to happily consent to loving sex with the murderor.

This has to be one of the most offensive incidents after the sack of Jericho.
