    Only 2!

    You are a saint looking after her (want a couple more - 8 and 11 . . .)

Let them take her! Rescue her and start the studies in about 5 years LOL

Seriously do you think that the privileges are linked to your babysitting?
Sorry I can't remember your position re JWs

Personal opinion, just because he's asked to say the prayer doesn't mean too much.
They like to try to get around to the barely qualified brothers for stuff like that.

Just be yourself and the body of elders will say, "Cognac is a poor example of a JW,
so Cognac's Husband should not be a ministerial servant."

Just very coincidental, IMO. But, I'm gonna keep my eye on things...

I've been watching over this elder/pioneer couples kid who is a neighbor of ours. I've been doing this A LOT over the past week or two. I just feel it helps get this poor girl away from service ALL THE TIME and I like kids anyways. So, I bring her to the park, play games with her, etc. Didn't really think much of it.

Please dont over think this. You are doing a good thing. A does not need to be connected to B. Keep being a decent human being. That is all you are doing by watching the kid.

And if you are a baptized JW and now not going or being a good little dubbie wife, unless they are hard up for MS, you dont have to worry. Of course, every congo is different.

So...What happens if your hubby does become a MS? Havent you told him you are not going along for the ride? Let him deal with it but tell him not to shove it down your throat.

I forget, are you going to meetings anymore? Inactive, what is your status right now? You are a grown woman, do what you want.

Cognac, OTWO is right. When they look to appoint a MS or elder, they also look at the wife's "qualifications" ie their publisher record card. If you aren't at or around the national average and making the vast majority of the meetings, he won't qualify. Man, he must be desperate to be recognized if he's all excited about giving the prayer. I kind of feel sorry for him.

I love how it's a "privilege" to do work in the JWs.

Do more work so you can be given more work to do!

. Right now, he doesn't study, go out in service, and overall isn't to strict a JW at all.

So, he as got a long way to go before being considered a M/S, Maybe your babysitting did bring him to that elder's attention, but that is a different ball game to getting him appointed.

    Don't worry about it
