    Waiting,

I know this might end a few guys' fantasies, but I wasn't one of the women kissing.

Stephanus, Stephanus, when will you ever learn?

Our apostate bbqs are supposed to be sophisticated! We have huge helpings of cab sav (cabernet sauvignon to you yanks!)nalthough I'm favouring a good West Australian shiraz these days.

I know Dr and Mrs Loss are sure to appreciate a good drop!

And Waiting, as for the leathers, it's too darned hot!

Yes, the weatherman has finally agreed to allow summer to start. Aircon is on. Woohoo!

    Cheers,
    Ozzie

    Airconditioning??????

You have gotta be joking, it's freezing.

NSW has temps very similar......and for a UK like me, I STILL don't need air conitioning.

Have a great time for all Sydney Siders.......and Merry Xmas

    Ozzie,

What West Australian Shiraz do you like? I'm partial to the Australian shiraz and I'd love some recommendations. My fave is Wyndham Hills bin 555. Oh, and I knew what a cab sav was!

    Outlaw,
Check the bottom of the page and click on the "Who's Who" site, and you'll see the pic of the two "apostates" kissing. You may/may not even catch a pic of me on the site!

    Gopher,
Didn't realise the 9th was your birthday. Hope you don't party too hard on the big Day.

    Expatbrit,
I'm afraid it will be a bit too hot for stockings (or leather for that matter) - it's summer here now!!

    Celtic,
I'm not sure what to make of your post, but I'm sure you're paying me a complement!

    Princess,
Glad you love our reds! Hardy Bros is also a good label, or look for Penfolds.

    HARDY BROS!!

Should be re-named Hard-ly Bros IMO.

Princess, the drop I like is a private bin from a small winery in the Margaret River area. Although it's Gold Medal wine, unfortunately it's not available in the stores. It's not produced in bulk. I get it sent to me by the winemaker himself. Even Mrs Ozzie's taken to it! She used to be a white wine person, but no longer! Oh, I feel thirsty just thinking about it.

Happy Xmas to you and yours. Sorry we can't share your snow. As a bye the bye, do you know that it has NEVER snowed in Sydney nor in most parts north of that fair city. It does a bit here on the Southern Highlands but nothing like you experience nor like the Brits have.

    Gloat, gloat.

    Cheers,
    Ozzie

I am so jealous! Not about the snow, about the wine. Sounds fabulous Ozzie, enjoy.

I love the snow, it is so beautiful. The kids love it and it's good for business (plumbing).

    Merry Christmas

Wine at a 'q? Naaaaaaaaaaa, not even an aussie would do that!

    Gotta be beer.

Btw, my kids have been trying to educate me about wine for as long as they've been drinking - which is a lot longer than they've been 21.

I started at White Zinfandel (I know, I know), went to White Merlot (which is pink), then onto Pinot Grigio (sp?). In other words, don't care for dry wines, nor reds. Has anyone a suggestion for a wine which looks a little classier - but still tastes in that group? My kids make fun of me - and I'm getting tired of them rollin' their eyes at their ol' ma.

I do find that drinking the dryer wines....I drink less. I found out why people *sip* them. Who'd want to drink them fast, eh?

    Unclassy waiting
