This is one of those moves that sounds good, but will not work well and will be revoked.
The WT pays lip service to the concept of equals, but where is the equality anywhere else in the entire organization? It is all to do with rank: publisher, pioneer, MS, elder, PO; in the body of elders now at least they know who has the final say, even if they don't like it. If you disagree with the PO, you are the odd man out.
This new arrangement will create MORE wrangling, not less; if no one is head, all will compete to be the head. How did they not learn the lesson from rotating PO, or from the CO is just another elder nonsense??
