but at least crude oil is dropping -for a while it was trading at below 100$ per barrel yesterday
Gas prices up again
Gas was $4.19 when I filled up a few minutes ago.
Most of the gas stations here in Tallahassee are out of gas.
I tried to fill up about 40 miles north of my house in SW Florida.
All. Pumps. Dry.
I almost ran out of gas getting down to my exit, where there was gas available.
I hear the stations in my county get their fuel from a different source than the next county up, which might explain availability. This just might be a rumour of course; I don't know.
I hope the get the refineries up and running soon.
I just filled up at 3.39$ per gallon - not too bad
Yesterday gas was $3.89. Today at the very same gas station, gas is $4.39. It amazes me how the cost of the gas already in the station's underground tanks can change so drastically from day to day. This is rediculous.
Anyone ever notice how the price of Halloween costumes drops precipitously in November?
THEY ARE GOUGING US IN OCTOBER.
WAKE UP PEOPLE.
I noticed Christmas stuff drops in January
hey and thinking about it -Easter eggs drop in price after Easter Sunday
perhaps it is just the laws of supply and demand at work
BTS--- In reference to that news article, I live in Knoxville and driving by several gas stations and even several highway exits I noticed no increase in customers at the pumps, I didn't even see any gas stations out of gas, although the shell up the road was out of mid grade and premium. What I did see was mostly $4.99 gas, with quite a few $5.09 gas. On one highway exit there were 2 stations selling for $4.49, 2 Stations selling for $4.99 and one for $5.09.
All of the stations at my exit are $4.99.
This is also happening in Ohio as my Mom said that gas there was $4.99.
I called my cousin in Kentucky to see how high gas was there, and it was $3.99, Why the difference? because the state government started cracking down on price gouging.
Tennessee is home to the Pilot Fuel Company, and they were the first to raise their prices.
