Most of us are familiar with the newer "school" for POs at Patterson... could this be the initial training for those elders to fill in the gap left by the COs?

The more I think about it, the more I believe there may be a connection... why in the hell would the WTS go through the trouble of training every single PO if not for the fact they were soon to eliminate their immediate superiors? They're training them for the most common tasks of being a CO -- being a company man who puts out fires and reports everything to Mother.

It actually serves a couple of purposes: 1. Seeing who and how many are 'company men". This makes it easier to know who to put out to pasture & where to place overzealous wannabe MTS or aging Bethelite who can still be manipulated for the WTS cause. 2. Interviewing the best candidates for this soon to be position. 3. All while cultivating the egos and secret boys club mindset. 4. Administering personality tests to every PO in the nation

That is an interesting connection. A slow fade out of CO's and slow training of all PO's. Nothing sudden to shock the masses. Wow!

I'm with those who are connecting the dots here. The Society has a plan and it is tied to the new "simplification" of the meeting schedules and is driven by cost savings.
It was, ironically, a CO who told his assembly audience: "This is not a social organization. We are a preaching organization!" Soon he may wish the organization had been more concerned with the social aspects of dubdom - like letting people keep their positions.
