In my view if COs were to be kept - or substitutes, the book study at the CO visit need not change. It can be as is now. Shortend TMS/SM followed by CO talk on Tuesday. Then Thursady Cong Book Study + CO talk - teh book study arrangement should not affect the CO schedule

The Society seems rather directionless lately,
so simple yet so true.
So I am not the only one that has noticed that the "Truth" is just kinda "floating around" lately. Nothing to look forward to. Nothing solid and grounded... with everything seeming to be on the block waiting to be changed which in reality changes nothing....
So they reduce Pioneer hours - nothing changes. They cut CO's - nothing changes - They cancel Book Studies - nothing changes. No more generation to count the last days, no more dwindling number of annointed remnant anymore to spark excitement. Just work work work, the end is so close, closer than ever but now we have absolutely nothing to convince you of that other than our word.
Before my grandfather recently passed I had a few discussions about all the changes lately and I have to admit he didnt seem to have much to say. He certainly couldnt understand at all why the Book Study was cut. It was almost how I imagine Bible Students would have felt after Russell died, Lost, confused, "directionless".
Then Rutherford came in and turned everything upside down and inside out and distracted everyone from what was really happening and the GB is playing the same game now....
Can we imagine how lost the old-timers are right now? Just sitting at the meetings going through the motions just waiting to die?All of the old "staples" the "doctrines" that kept them standing tall are all gone. What does the "Truth" offer anymore??? WORK WORK WORK - KEEP PREACHING - KEEP OBEYING -
If I was 80 years in the Lie I would feel like the FDS just kicked me in the nuts big time!
