Mainstream Christianity teaches that the Pharisees attributed Jesus' healing to Satan's power rather than to the Holy spirit.
The unforgiveable sin was - attributing to Satan Christ's authenticating miracles done in the the power of the Holy Spirit.Makes sense to me.

those of us who leave for reasons of conscienceI don't think I've ever heard this given as the reason for a disfellowshipping, but yet there are many out there who have done this.

And yep, just walk away, stop going is the best idea. Don't argue, dont' justify, don't debate. Dont play by their fucked up rules, they're all stacked against you. Just leave and ignore all the hoorah. If you can.This is what I did. However the harrasment never ends because of family, and who wants to have their name dragged threw the mud with all these derogatory stereotypes the WT gives anyone who leaves. It's just another tactic the WT uses to keep people from jumping ship.

Excellent point, I remember reading or hearing from the WT that baptism is the most important decision of your life.
Guess that's why Jesus waited till he was 30.

seriously, thats a horrible way to pressure humans into obeying other humans. who needs "hell", wenn we can unleash the unforgivable sin on ppl who dont think the same as we?
