What made me leave the Borg?

If I'd have to point out a single reason to my departure, it would the 607BC issue. It just completely destroys all credibility of the Borg and its teachings.

Welcome Jaac...and the 607 thing has been an issue for many here, as well as the flip flopping generation thing, the blood issue, shunning...keep reading and keep posting here. And bring your friends who are questioning!

and LD ...means LovesDubs LOL! I have Dubs in my family and I DO love them. Its not the people in there you know...its the fricking organization I HATE.

Dubs are hypocrites, every last one of them. Why? They demand that others 'examine their religion', while they patently refuse to do so, even in the face of FACTS.

well i'm still listed as a newbie but i sure don't feel like one. I've been on this site every day for approaching a year now lurking and posting since november of last. I dissasociated last november because its so obvious that its all bullshit. 1914 was my big thing. Its ridiculous

you are the only one that is hateful - and generalizing. I am not a witness anymore, but i had nothing against examining ANYTHING, and many i know did the same.

You really need to let go.

Hi. I'm kind of a newbie. More of a lurker, I suppose. I mostly just read over Sparkplug's shoulder. I wasn't born into the borg. Was just assimilated and after about 7 years of the madness, chose to leave.

My two youngest were born while I was still in the borg. As a matter of fact, my ex-husband has just recently decided to become active again. No EARTHLY idea why he would return after being inactive, pagan, satanist, promiscuous, mason, organized religion going, porn addict, etc.... after 9 years BUT he did.

This is now the dilemma. Since he is going back to the meetings, he makes our kids go with him during his visitation. They HATE it. My oldest daughter (15) doesn't even want to go to his house because of it. My son (10) just wants to be with his dad so he doesn't complain to him about it. He complains to me, but not him because he's afraid his dad is going to be upset or his feelings would be hurt.

What would you guys do?
