around the table with your 5 siblings and two parents, about to eat a chicken dinner. Everyone has worked hard that day, and you can see the jealous sneer and determined posture of your brothers as you leer at each other and wait impatiently as your father says the prayer. "Amen" comes, and you all reach for a chicken leg, while your mom swats your hands away and bids you to mind your manners.
Everyone gets a piece, and all of you could easily eat a second or third, but there's only one remaining piece of chicken sitting in the plate. You once again eye each other, as the music from a Clint Eastwood western cues in your heads. Your younger brother starts to nip and snarl, and your older one simply looks amused, like he will squish you all without stopping his eating. Your dad waits patiently with a flyswatter, waiting for one of you little squirts to break table manners so he can use his swatter and take the food for himself.
Who gets the last piece, and why?
