We ave an ex-Marine living across the street, badly injured in Vietnam, with only one leg now. He is really militant about being a patriot. He got out his flag on September 11, and it was so old, faded, and tattered, that I thought he would be embarrassed. But he proudly flew that flag, until one day, it was just in shreds from the wind and rain. Now, there is no flag. I kind of hope he buys a new one.
