oh well, I hijacked my own thread...on another thread recently we were talking about an apostafest in Palm Springs. Dagney, I think, offered to organize a couple of time share condos and I'd love to cook a nice big dinner for everyone. Thanksgiving would be a good time, but I think the idea isn't really going anywhere unfortunately.

I've read some threads about the "encouraging" emails JWs send around to each other, usually saccharine and nauseating. It reminded me of something a friend and I did once. We started a rumor that there were special energetic vortices in my town, something having to do with the water table, the wind and the mountain. We talked about it around other folks, and if anyone asked, we said there were several vortices in our town, "but they won't let you know where they are." Within months not only were the airy-fairy types talking about the vortex, they had arranged a ceremony with an Indian shaman and some Tibetan monks on one of the hills nearby. Made me laugh.so what I'm suggesting is a fake story, like those nauseating ones with the rapist, the JW, and the angels guarding her.
We could email it to all the JWs we know and see how long it takes to get back to us.

How are you coming with the story?? Remember lots of details.
How about also= The sister/wife, was the best housekeeper in the world. Nothing out of place. How that "truth" book got there, with just the corner barely visible sticking out, from under the couch, is unknown.
You need a newer book though. That is the only one I could think of. You could even say that sister/wife was at the 2008 __??_____ convention, in ????? city.
It would be funny, if it got all the way back to the conventions left this year, and repeated from the podium!!!!!!!!!! LOL
