Its 1:02, I've got 2- 2 1/2 hrs before i normally shut it down lately......bored out of my mind....

yeah, I'm kind of bored, too. Hence the pointless thread. I have stuff I could do, but I'm not going to do anything else today. Or yesterday, I guess. It's after midnight. My cats are making pointed comments about going to bed, but even that isn't making me move my ass out of this chair. I'm not only bored, I'm boring!

some statistics about the Palm Springs area. With a population of about half a million spread out over seven cities, we have 110 mobile home parks, and 113 golf courses. The golf courses make the valley really beautiful.

oh, that dinosaur was used in the PeeWee Herman movie. I pass it quite often. And we have loads of windmills. I like them - they make the landscape very interesting. One night I was driving back home under a huge full moon, and when I passed the windmills each one had a light at the bottom shining up to the top. It was very very spooky. I found out that they were filming a Tom Cruise movie - Mission Impossible 2 or something like that. Was fabulous thing to see, and even more interesting because there was a fire on the mountain behind the windmills. I wonder if they used the fire in the film.

Must be tons of tourists coming through there...looks like there is lots to do. We have quite a few windmills here going up
in the area. There is a farmer here that has one in his yard, powers the whole place, talk about energy saving bills.
So have you taken pictures of the school yet? I've been taking before and after pictures of all the weeding I've had to do....

no pictures of the school. We have tons of tourists, and 80,000 Canadians spend the winter here, they say. We have loads of snowbirds, for sure. It's interesting that old timers around here hate the windmills, but folks like me who grew up somewhere else do like the windmills. I like how they look and what they do for the view. Also, because the land is fenced off, they are a safe habitat for the desert tortoise and other animals.

Unfortunately I'm not one of them....Next year thats it I've got to get out more and away....I so need a break.
I hate being married to work, gotta hire. Need some fun......

I am always ready to hit the antique stores! This year for my vacation my sister and I are going to the world's longest yard sale. It goes from Ohio to Alabama. I have wanted to do that since I first heard about it.
I have been married to work for a long time but I have a plan to be out of one business by Thanksgiving. I am really looking forward to that. More time for myself, more time for a life, more time for visitors, too!

I was suppose to retire two years ago....or slow down at least...
