The old guidance from God comes from the WTBTS because we said so , article. No different than other religions believing the pastors and priests have that extra wisdom to lead everybody to paradise . It is looking like they are going back to the "spiritual jew" , dogma, where the word "christian" would only apply to the "anointed". Hard to say exactly what they are up to .

Q7 Ask the 14 million children under 5 years of age that die each year.

Q15 You the GB/FDS better admit and confess your SINS or be disfellowshipped for your association with the United Nations.(scarlet-colored beast). You must be humble, repent and turn around.

Didn't you know that being in the "society" means never having to say "I'm sorry" for anything and you can even blame the R&F for taking you too seriously and have them willfully take the blame at anytime ?

    Hypothetical

We all need guidance , none more so than when travelling. The motorist who relies on his own understanding can easily become horribly lost and suffer the consequences [true] A wise motorist recognises the need for a reliable guide [true]. The Ordnance Survey maps are expertly drawn up and show whatever you need to know [true]. A wise motorist takes time out of his busy schedule to consult the experts so as to avoid the pitfalls {true]

The Acme Satellite Navigation System brings you the expert map readings direct to your car [maybe?] Follow the sat nav and you will never wrong {Hmmmm?]

Suppose a wiser motorist consulted the Internet and found that this system had corrupted software , frequently gave misinformation, told you that you were almost at your destination when in fact - you were no where near to it ? Would you still put your faith in the Acme sat nav? or would you call on the actual maps and decide for yourself the best way to go?

The Acme company may get annoyed at that suggestion, they call the motorist "haughty" , "proud" "wanting to be their own master" - so the unknowing proceed to listen to their voice, but the course of wisdom is to ditch the worthless piece of junk and rely on your own information and intuition to get you through the journey of life.....

I am going to try to give my straight-from-the-hip answers to these moronic questions.

    Q. 1, 2. Why should we follow Jehovah's guidance rather than trust in our own wisdom, and what questions arise"?

Our own wisdom might be misguided from the influence of men who are not inspired.

Questions like this one arise- How can you be sure it is Jehovah's guidance rather
than the Governing Body's uninspired guidance which changes over time?

    Q. 3-5. For what reasons do we have total confidence in Jehovah's guidance?

We know that Divine guidance is based on never-changing recorded words in the Bible,
where uninspired guidance may be recorded, but becomes dated or "old light."

    Q. 6, 7. When do we need Jehovah's guidance?

Whenever we are given new light from our WT cult, we need Jehovah's guidance as to
whether it is totally invalid or not. Analyze it according to Jehovah's guidance.

Q 8. What were the implications of Eve's eating the forbidden fruit?

Eve eating the fruit implied that she desired to know good from bad.
Eve eating the fruit implied that the whole test was silly.
Eve listening to a snake implied that she wasn't afraid of snakes.
Eve eating the fruit implied that she believed the snake when he said she would
not die in that day, and she didn't.

Q 9. If we reject Jehovah's guidance, '''What are we in effect doing, and why is that most unwise?

If we reject Jehovah's guidance, we are deciding for ourself....OR.... we are saying that
Jehovah's guidance doesn't exist....OR....we recognize that what is disguised as Jehovah's
guidance is actually the guidance of the uninspired men of the WT cult.

    It is not unwise.

Q 10. Why should we show a responsible attitude in the way we use our free will?

If we are in the WT cult, we recognize that they teach that there really is no such
thing. Adam and Eve were supposedly given free will, but then get DESTROYED.
Men in the past were supposedly given free will, but were then DESTROYED.
We can decide to serve Jehovah or not, but if not, they promise we will be DESTROYED.

Anytime men looked like they might accomplish something, God scattered them or
confused their languages or punished or destroyed them.

If you are a JW, be responsible with your fake free will or get destroyed.

Q 16, 17. How can we make the most of the Bible as a source of divine guidance?

Compare many Bibles and stop reading that not-divine WT literature. It just misguides.

Q 18. In what ways does Jehovah use the Christian brotherhood to guide us?

OH NO. This paragraph is what the whole study is about. According to the uninspired
leaders, Jehovah uses the Governing Body to masquerade as the Faithful and Discreet Slave
and threat us with destruction and everlasting cutting off from family (starting now) unless we
    mindlessly do as they say.

    CONCLUDING COMMENTS

I remember several jws that resisted the pressure from the elders and the CO when they could see that the Bible reasoned differently. But jws are told that they must obey even when the WTS is wrong waiting for God to correct things. It's a good thing that many Israelites didn't listen to their religious leaders, and followed Jesus anyway and didn't wait for God to correct things.

Great concluding comments. Strength to you and yours, Blondie.
    Love, OTWO.
