Back in the late 60's I saw a fellow elder in the grocery store with his sister in law shopping together. His wife was sick and they were getting groceries for her. I was behind them in the isle when he took his hand and "rubbed" her arse (Rated R style). I kept following, being the goody twoshoes elder and all that I was, and finally when he turned around he turned red as a tomato. He was fumbling for words and said something to the effect that he was trying to help her with her skirt because it had gotten caught in her backside. Nothing happened of course and he always tried to avoid me after that.

In the local cong, a ministerial servant worked for an elder, and stole over a hundred thousand bucks from him over a matter of time by cooking the books. He was DF'd, but was back in under a year. The elder chose not to prosecute.

While working for an elder and his wife, I walked in to the elder's office for a signature. He was sitting at his computer, with his back to the door, picking his nose and watching porn videos. I tiptoed out the door backwards, and made sure I put a "bucket of hand sanitizer" on my shopping list.

What? Other than lie, cheat or steal?

    No...not really.

Our bookstudy group stayed after the TMS meeting one evening to clean the hall. The elders were having a meeting in the back library with the door shut. Between vacuuming, we could hear the elder's voices were louder than usual. Later, while waiting in my car, (it was dark and i wasn't noticed) i over heard a conversation (i use that term loosely) between to of the elders who had just stepped out of the library. "You're a F*cking A$$hole!" screamed Brother S, while pushing Brother E.

The argument was heated, full of explicitives and was punctuated with physical confrontation.

I just wonder which one of these "brothers" closed the elder's meeting with prayer.
