Virtually all JWs have been taking blood fractions and don't know it!

An elder actually told me about this a few months ago. I already knew it was happening but to here it from him as though it was news was intersting. In fact, there are WT articles as far back as 1980 that show certain blood fractions as a conscience matter... funny how nobody ever heard about it before 2000...

Even by current methods that are very effective at bleeding an animal (cutting
deeply across the animal's throat, its body held so its head hangs downward),
50-58% of the blood is left in it.

I remember in the 1970's a woman who had six children and had issues with the Rh factor and refused the meds. Fortunately, all of her kids came through okay. But what a risk to take, only to have the WTS allow it just a couple of years after the last one was born.

Given the amount of blood left in meat, why aren't JWs required to be vegetarians, like their Seventh Day Adventist cousins?
