ooookay - the picture is getting clearer.
Well you both know the elephant is there - but really you can make a more meaningful relationship with her, the faith isn't the only thing you guys have in common right.

Dear PDB,
The elephant's very real existence has come up, too, in the discussions of our divided family. I, at least, try to make him feel part of the family.
However difficult the transition has been for me (the only family member out), I keep in mind my special responsibilty toward my family: they followed me into the Organization 40 years ago. I have to be prudent and measure my words and calculate my moves.
