I agree. Forcing a transfusion on a competant, independant thinking adult is wrong.
Equally as wrong is an organized religion with over 6 million people that has a writing department that misquotes medical doctors, medical studies, and historians in order to make blood transfusions look ultra dangerous and bloodless surgery to look ultra safe.
Equally as wrong is an organized religion that: 1) shuns a follower who accepts blood, 2) has literature that tells other JWs to "rat out" a fellow follower who breaks the medical tenants, 3) has a hospital liasion team to patrol the hallways to make sure no blood goes in/out of the room, and 4) appoints JW/elder lawyers for the patient asking the patient to waive confidentiality so the lawyer can break lawyer-client confidentiality.
Yes, forcing a transfusion on a competant, independant thinking adult is wrong.
The JWs are brainwashed & coerced into the blood decision.
