    The question remains though, has the society quoted (misquoted) this passage to support it's date? I'd love to see that, somehow I doubt the society quoted it, too easy to look up the Cath Encyc at the local library. Imagine the stunned dub doing research for a speaking part and he comes across such a misquote.
