I am just tired of eating Chinese and Mexican Food. I thought I might try something new. Do you like India Food? What should I eat?

so many wonderful dishes i dont know where to start to advise you. Go to a Indian buffet if you can so you can sample a few. Sadly they tend to be highly Americanized - but wonderful food

Depends on what you like in other cuisines: shrimp, chicken, lamb? You won't be able to get beef except at Muslim-owned restaurants -- where you won't be able to get pork :) It isn't all about curry, even though that is an art form in itself.

Eveyone expects Indian food to be hot, and it often is, but try:

    • Tandoori chicken
    • Garlic or onion naan, often available as a side dish or appetizer
    • Palak paneer
    • Samosas, which will likely be offered as an appetizer or lunch special
    • And if you're in the mood for something soothing and breakfasty, try idli. It might be offered as an appetizer.

The Wikipedia article is short but comprehensive. Check out the section on Indian food outside of India.

Love it. It's like a taste explosion in your mouth! If it's to hot i don't enjoy it.

    Never had it.

Yes yes I LOVE IndiaN food!

    Biryani rice
    Cucumber Raita
    Papadum (cracker)
Chicken tikka masala (yoghurt+spice marinated chicken pieces)
    Rogan josh, Vindaloo

I can't eat stuff that is too hot. Stomach won't take it. But I love the rich smells of spice. Aniseed, coriander, cumin, cardamom... Yum!

Yes, it's very good. Try butter chicken with naan bread for dipping in the sauce. Yum!
