    Have you ever done DIY or made something from scratch and stepped back and thought something isn't quite right ,it just doesn't look right ,it doesn't work as it should and it takes days before you figure what's wrong? Well that's how I view the concept of God as the creator.Nothing adds up , the proposition just doesn't look right.Maybe the stories in the Bible looked right when they were first written and people accepted the Bible's statements at face value, but the longer I live the more sure I am that the concept of an almighty creator as expounded in the Bible just doesn't add up,it doesn't look right.There must be another explanation waiting to be discovered.

    With all this in mind let us imagine what really happened right at the very beginning but try to make it logical if it is at all possible.How would you go about creating a world like ours ?

    Excellent point Ed!

    It's like, in order to excuse all the counterarguments (reality displays against a loving god) and keep humans in line ( so noone causes unexpected chaos) organisations have decide on what ancient writings they found could be put in one volume and do an excellent job controlling the human speceis.

    It is hard to see why god hasnt rubbed the whole thing and started afresh if it is known evil prevails! It would, you imagine, be simple to just make it all work out! I would like to be invited round to gods house for a few days and get my head around it all!

    Maybe scones, and tea with a game of philosophical chess in between. I would love to be utterly proven an idiot! I really would!

    Add water and dirt, shake it up, and see where the dust settles?

    Your conundrum is pretty common when you limit your paradigm to biblical sideboards. carmel

    I would not allow any life forms to develope who felt that all productive individual effort should be shared equally with under achievers so that everything would be "fair". These creatures are also known as Socialists and they basically try to suck the life out of personal human effort . Not to say that the strong should not help the weak, but to take from the rich to give to the poor is a childish, fairy tale view of life.

    From a song;

    "Man don't mind if the stars get dim and the clouds roll over and darken him

    as long as the good Lord watches over him seeing how it all goes along

    But sometimes I get to thinking maybe God's gone away

    And we are lost out here in the stars."

    The above lyrics got me thinking ,maybe God started creating planet Earth and then something terrible happened to God like he got distracted by other urgent business like a major problem at the other end of a black hole.

    Probably use C++ for the underlying architecture, then blitz3d for the vector graphics. Big project though probably have to get some help. Some kind of collaboration forum, even if that would make it hard to agree on the parameters.
