I know this is an old post....but, had this discussion with my wife. She said if the elders called right now to leave, that she would leave. she asked if i would leave with her....i was like ummmm NO. hence the argument started. LOL.
she is so brainwashed....
well anyways the way i get around this questioin is by saying yes, they are directing the orginization, then i mummble to myself...OVER THE EDGE.

Read Luke chapter 12 where peter stops Jesus as Jesus is talking about the slaves and asks if this parable is for just us. So its a parable and that's why the gb never quote this scriptures.
