Just got the specifics... She was born at 3:37 am... 7 lbs 14 oz., 20 1/2 inches long. Mom and Dad are doing fine, but exhaused (she went into labor on Friday at 4 pm.)
Here's a picture of me and the happy couple before the pregnancy... I won't get to see them until the end of the month. But the good news is that I'll also get to see my daughter and her 3 children who are coming up from Florida then.

Thanks everyone... it is a very special day for me. Ok..so she missed my birthday by a few hours... but she managed to be born on my daughter in law's father's birthday... so she'll share her birthday with her grandfather instead of me..
Life is good. and getting even better... my daugher, who has been having horrific and scary divorce and custody problems is making great progress. There is light at the end of the tunnel finally.
