Are you just referring to JW’S in general or does your theory hold for the rest of Religion? Because there’s a good resemblance in cultures like the Moron’s, Minorities, Amish, evangelist, Buddhism, Judaism, Muslims having to wear proper apparel to worship in the house of God to show proper respect. If a preacher puts on their garments to show the mass their headship and the house of God should respected, then why shouldn’t the masses show that same respect to God. However if people’s minds have already been made to the hypocrisy of their religion, wouldn’t it be just as hypocritical to stay or worse? Isn’t that the entire theory the bible has placed, to make a choice on who to serve, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, mythological Gods, Pagan Gods such a BAAL or man. (EVOLUTION).

Science: Dr Joseph Watts, an expert in cultural evolution at the University of Auckland in New Zealand, said: 'We found 22 instances of high political complexity throughout historically and geographically distant regions of Austronesia.

'The results presented here cast doubt on the widely held view that moralizing high gods facilitate the emergence of political complexity.

'Although beliefs in moralizing high gods do co-evolve with political complexity, believes follow rather than drive political complexity.'

Instead the researchers found that belief in systems of supernatural punishment - such as vengeful spirits - tended to precede the emergence of complex societies and civilizations on the islands.

These tended to be belief in anthropomorphic beings such as the spirits of dead ancestors.

The researchers found that 37 of the cultures sampled had beliefs of this type while just six believed in supreme deities.

Now playing a role is an everyday occurrence. It is not limited to the house of worship or the God you believe in or not, for the atheist it would be the four corners of the universe, nevertheless, it’s a human condition that come with imperfection.

Matthew 6:24, context: The Lamp of the Body. 1 Kings 18:21, Romans 6:20, Galatians 1:10

    Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary

6:19-24 Worldly-mindedness is a common and fatal symptom of hypocrisy, for by no sin can Satan have a surer and faster hold of the soul, under the cloak of a profession of religion. Something the soul will have, which it looks upon as the best thing; in which it has pleasure and confidence above other things. Christ counsels to make our best things the joys and glories of the other world, those things not seen which are eternal, and to place our happiness in them. There are treasures in heaven. It is our wisdom to give all diligence to make our title to eternal life sure through Jesus Christ

Titus 1:9, context: Appointment of Elders on Crete, 2 Thessalonians 2:15, 1 Timothy 1:19.

    Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary

1:5-9 the character and qualification of pastors, here called elders and bishops, agree with what the apostle wrote to Timothy. Being such bishops and overseers of the flock, to be examples to them, and God's stewards to take care of the affairs of his household, there is great reason that they should be blameless. What they are not to be, is plainly shown, as well as what they are to be, as servants of Christ, and able ministers of the letter and practice of the gospel. And here are described the spirit and practice becoming such as should be examples of good works.
