Do any other religions believe in the way that the JW's do about blood transfusions? Mormons? Muslims? I've heard the Muslims let their meat bleed out onto the ground at the place where it's slaughtered. A friend said she used to raise goats out near Houston, and she said some Muslim folks would go out and buy her goats, but they had to string up in a tree and slit their throats and let 'em bleed out before leaving with them. She stopped selling to Muslims, 'cause she couldn't handle all that mess. The point is, although the Muslims obviously adhere to the scripture about not eating blood, do they allow transfusions?

Almost all religions allow blood transfusions, including Muslims and Jews. Jews follow the principle of Pikuach Nefesh (Muslims have a similar principle) that saving life overrides other laws.
