When I read things like that, it just blows my mind, how anyone can in their right frame of mind, think this "religion" is one of love and forgiveness. YOU left the religion based on your personal belief system, why did it have to ruin the relationship with your family member? It's ridiculous.
lost all my friends. Of course, I left them, quit going to meetings. I tried to stay in touch with a couple of people who were especially dear to me, but they dumped me, quoting the watchtower about apostates. What can I say, I'm apostate and proud. And I have better friends now who don't care what my religion is, or even whether I have one.

I confided once to someone my age about pornography after they asked if I had seen xyz photspread. So they were into porn too.Then the bastard went and told his po dad about my porn. So I learned at a young age to never trust a witness.
