The Bible isn't all bullshit, of course. And that's not what they're saying either, I don't think. Some of it is history, some of it is poetry and great stories, some of it has values worth keeping. Some of it though, is the "opposite" of all those things; some events can't be confirmed outside of the Bible, some of it is not that well written (because it's been put together from various sources), and some of the 'values' aren't worth keeping.
