There you go again, mixing the religious with the medical. If it is a true religious prohibition, the outcome should not matter. The bible treats blood as sacred, as a symbol of life. The reason is simple. Lose the blood, you die. Blood is life. Yet you have been deceived by the Watchtower materials in to believing that blood delivers death. Regardless of all the associated risks, blood saves more lives than it kills every year. You have been deceived.
